Our latest research paper, ‘Passive Testing of AI-Enhanced Financial Systems via Protocol Traffic Analysis and Property-Based Validation’, authored by Exactpro's Alena Bulda, SVP, Emerging Technologies, Iosif Itkin, CEO & Co-founder, Daria Degtiarenko, Senior Marketing Communications Manager and Alexey Itkin, Test Manager, has been accepted for presentation at the 8th IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Testing (IEEE AITEST 2026).
The paper presents a practical approach to testing AI-enabled financial systems without the need to access the underlying AI models. Instead of relying on model internals, the proposed method analyses financial protocol traffic and validates system behaviour against exchange rules, regulatory requirements and protocol specifications. The approach is demonstrated against two classes of AI component behaviour: pre-trade risk decision coherence with observable position state and best-execution compliance of routing decisions across exchange venues.
IEEE AITest 2026 will take place on 27-30 July in Fukuoka, Japan, as part of the IEEE CISOSE 2026 Congress. The conference provides an international forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas and share the latest innovations at the intersection of artificial intelligence and software testing.
