Hong Kong Fintech Week — Asia’s leading financial technology conference — took place at the Convention & Exhibition Centre with a stunning view of the Victoria Harbour. With over 100 exhibition booths and 200+ speakers from more than 50 countries across the world, the Hong Kong FinTech Week truly reaches across borders to reveal the region’s most relevant issues and opportunities, and bring together businesses looking to expand to Hong Kong, China and the APAC region.
Finovate Asia also took place within Hong Kong Fintech Week, offering the latest banking, financial and payments technology in a signature demo format, as well as the expanded format.

During the event, Tatiana Ivanova, Senior QA Analyst and Michael Smith, Head of Sales at Exactpro got to meet young start-up founders as well as established businessmen, listen to talks, network with banks, regulators and counterparts from around the world. With the blockchain topic being in the air a lot, it was especially relevant to discuss Exactpro’s latest project with R3’s Corda platform and the intricacies of providing software testing services for blockchain and blockchain-inspired systems.
