[Tuesday, 4 October 2022, Colombo] – Exactpro Group is delighted to announce two major milestones – the 1st anniversary of the Sri Lankan branch and its reaching the benchmark of hiring the 100th member of the team. Exactpro, a leading independent provider of software testing services for mission-critical financial technology, expanded to Sri Lanka in the fall of 2021 via opening a software delivery centre in Colombo. The launch of the second office followed in August 2022. Solidifying worldwide presence enables the Group to continue strengthening its support for global clients, including major exchanges, banks, clearing houses and technology vendors.
In his role as CEO of Exactpro's Sri Lankan subsidiary, Jagath De Silva – who previously held a number of senior executive and technological engineering roles – has brought over two decades of fintech and delivery experience to Exactpro. As the firm continues to expand, his goals are set on adding new capabilities, experiences and perspectives to the company’s growth, while harnessing the potential of the local market.

We have been running a series of training programs and boot camps to educate the students in Software Testing principles and practices. We are hoping that it will enable them to find a career in testing in the future. So far we have engaged with universities and Institutions such as University of Colombo, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Sri Lanka Technological Campus, Uva Wellassa University, NSBM Green University and SLIIT – Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.”
