The rise of artificial intelligence (AI) and the combined potential of human and computer intelligence present a significant opportunity for innovation across various industries. Using AI in software testing has become essential for streamlining processes, enhancing efficiency, and enabling organisations to deliver high-quality software products more efficiently.
Our webinar series titled ‘AI Testing Talks’ features discussions on AI-related topics exploring various aspects of software testing and AI technology including Generative AI, AI-powered test tools, the impact of AI biases, the role of AI in software testing, and more. The sessions will provide you with the opportunity to stay updated on recent tech trends, and discover strategies to improve your current projects with a cutting-edge technology stack.
During the 19 June webinar, Olivier Denoo, Vice President of the ISTQB, gave a talk on 'AI Biases Unleashed.'
As AI Testing Talks participants, attendees had the opportunity to engage in the Q&A session, ask questions, and share their thoughts.
AI Biases Unleashed
“Artificial intelligence is slowly but systematically invading our lives. Hardly a day goes by without an article or video extolling the capabilities of these new tools which are supposed to solve all our problems, or at least make our lives easier and more efficient...
But every rose has its thorns, and artificial intelligence has its own. I'm talking about the systematic and, sometimes, dramatic biases that accompany its analyses, and their subsequent decisions which sometimes make the headlines.
Where do these biases come from? Why are they so difficult to anticipate? How can we try to detect them, and how can the tester help? That's the subject of this presentation.”
