[1 October, London] – Exactpro, a global independent provider of AI-enabled software testing services, and Women in Tech® (WIT), an international social enterprise and non-profit organisation, announced today signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Mutual Cooperation to facilitate access to in-demand skills – focused on artificial intelligence (AI) based systems – among women.
WIT Global is one of the world’s leaders in working on closing the gender gap and empowering women to embrace technology. Headquartered in Paris, the movement spans chapters in 54 countries across six continents, a thriving membership of over 250,000 individuals, and a widespread network of high-profile partners.
The overarching mission to foster empowerment, diversity, and innovation within the technology sector is spread via local chapters and manifests itself through organisation of networking events, mentorship programs, and skill-building initiatives within the dynamic and inclusive community. The organisation serves young female students, seasoned professionals, and passionate advocates for gender equality – all looking to excel in technology-related careers or aspiring to enter the tech field. At the initial stage, the WIT–Exactpro collaboration is to be facilitated by the WIT Georgia chapter and will gradually grow across the Caucasus and Central Asia region and beyond.
To the Exactpro Group, promoting access to education, professional excellence, and career advancement in information and communication technology (ICT) among students and women has been a strategic direction for many years. This most recent initiative will guarantee exclusive conditions for the WIT community members to join Exactpro’s award-winning AI Testing training course accredited by ISTQB®. The course provides an extensive theoretical foundation and some of the practical skills needed to comprehend, create, train, and test intelligent systems. In the near future, the two companies will aim to extend the partnership to more courses and training programs provided by Exactpro.
“Empowering women and young girls in tech is essential for shaping a brighter future. By bringing more female voices into technology today, we inspire the next generation of leaders, creators, and innovators who will break barriers and drive progress tomorrow. Partnerships like these will help elevate and educate, shortening the path for females to enter the tech world and creating meaningful career opportunities,” comments Maria Voskanyan, Chapter Director of Women in Tech® in Georgia
“Technology is a highly dynamic field where one has to have a razor-sharp focus and a clear strategy when investing in professional education. With machine learning and AI gaining momentum across ICT use cases, the demand for specialists able to implement ethical use of AI is expected to increase in the coming years. As we encourage women and girls to transition into ICT, we are honoured to have the ability to equip them with industry-relevant skill sets and in-demand tools setting them up for success,” comments Natia Sirbiladze, CEO of Exactpro Georgia
