[2 Oct, London] – As part of the Sibos 2025 program taking place in Frankfurt on 29 September – 2 October, Swift Hackathon 2025 organisers announced today the winners, runners-up and special mentions recognised in this year’s competition. Exactpro has been awarded an honourable mention in the Technical Challenge track for its entity-, bank-, and technology-agnostic solution, Coincento.
Earlier this year, industry participants were invited to develop practical solutions that bridge digital and traditional payment systems in a secure, scalable, and future-ready manner. With the end goal of helping the financial community to achieve a more unified and resilient financial ecosystem, Swift Hackathon organisers placed special emphasis on compliance with the ISO 20022 standard.
Exactpro’s proposed solution was shortlisted among the six finalists of the Technical Challenge and the 12 overall finalists from a record-breaking 104 entries – and has made the list of the challenge’s top three solutions celebrated in the Hackathon final.
Leveraging the Exactpro team’s expertise at the intersection of software testing, complex distributed financial systems, DLT and emerging technologies, Coincento enables:
- seamless integration with the banking infrastructure based on ISO 20022, capitalising on and requiring minimal modifications to the existing banking platforms,
- setting up cross-network interoperability and efficiency across digital finance, and
- improving data transparency and enabling end-to-end traceability for the use case flow and further process mapping, reconciliation, streamlined internal audits and regulatory reporting.ֵֵ
Marina Kudriavtceva, SVP, Technology, Exactpro and Swift Hackathon 2025 participant, comments: ‘The challenges addressed in the Hackathon strongly align with Exactpo’s core expertise in both testing and development of complex financial systems. This includes vast experience in testing and integration of ISO 20022-based financial infrastructures, both in traditional finance and in implementations powered by distributed ledger technology (DLT). Leveraging this knowledge, our hackathon prototype team focused on solving pertinent challenges of improving transparency, cross-network interoperability, and processing efficiency across digital finance, all while maintaining regulatory compliance and alignment with the necessary requirements’.
