The North American Financial Information Summit 2024 (NAFIS), hosted by Waters Technology, was held on 16 May in New York. The event brought together leading industry experts, senior-level professionals, and vendors, to address key challenges facing the financial services sector, while also providing network-building opportunities.
The conference program covered a wide range of topics spanning the capital markets data and technology landscape. These included but was not limited to the potential of using artificial intelligence (AI) and the regulatory, governance, and cybersecurity aspects of its use, the economic impacts in capital markets, data and risk management, cloud- and data-driven strategies, optimisations and automation in trading and post-trade technology as well as the supporting processes.
