Sibos-2017 event took place on October 16-19 in Toronto, ON, Canada. Iosif Itkin, Exactpro co-founder and co-CEO spoke on Disruptive Functional Testing.
Sibos is one of the world’s most visited financial services industry events. Annually, it gathers about 8,000 professionals to debate a wide range of financial issues. This year’s Sibos theme was 'Building for the Future' and the presentation highlights included AI and automation, blockchain, fintech innovation, open banking, start-ups in finance, transaction banking, cybersecurity and digitisation, and fast-paced regulatory change.
On Monday, October 16, Iosif Itkin delivered a presentation named "Disruptive Functional Testing - The Next Frontier in Post-Trade Systems Verification" based largely on Exactpro’s work with LCH, T2S, clearing and settlement systems worldwide. Throughout the conference, the participants could visit Exactpro’s stand at the exhibition area. The company’s representatives were available to talk about QA and post-trade testing.
The spirit of innovation made Toronto look especially relevant as this year’s Sibos host city. It is Canada's most populous metropolitan area whose innovative economy is underpinned by heavy investment into FinTech.
Exactpro thanks the Sibos-2017 organizers for the speaking, exhibition and networking opportunities and looks forward to Sibos-2018 in Sydney, Australia.
Sibos is organised and facilitated by SWIFT - the global provider of secure financial messaging services. The event started out as a banking operations seminar in 1978 and has grown into a premier business forum for the global financial community to debate and collaborate in the areas of payments, securities, cash management and trade.
