The 13th annual International Derivatives Expo took place as an in-person event on 27-28 September 2021 in London. Organized by FIA, the event brought together the leading industry experts, fintech startups as well as key regulators to join in the compelling discussions, leverage the networking opportunities and deepen the existing partnerships.

The fifth episode of the 2021 Americas FIXinar series took place on 16 September and featured “Blockchain for Repo – What Next for the Industry?”. Marina Kudryavtseva, Head of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Division, Exactpro, was one of the panelists among other experts from CME Group, Broadridge and Aite Novarica Group.

The second FIXinar in the Americas 2021 series took place on 29 April. Thomas Toller, Director of Exactpro’s US entity, was one of the panel experts.  

On 19-23 April, The World Federation of Exchanges (the WFE) hosted the 37th edition of its Clearing & Derivatives Conference. This year, the conference took place online. The Conference brought together academics, policy-makers, regulators, CCPs, derivatives markets and practitioners from all around the world to exchange ideas on the opportunities and challenges for the future of central and bilateral clearing in the context of the latest regulatory reforms, market structure changes and technological developments.

One of the world‘s largest virtual international conferences, the A4Q World Congress brought together over 80 international speakers and participants from more than 90 countries to discuss current findings and future trends in IT with the software quality industry professionals community. The event was hosted by the Alliance for Qualification.

“Recent Challenges in Modern Science” is an Online Academic Panel Conference and Discussion that took place this Saturday, 27 March, hosted by the European Institute for Research and Development.

FIA’s annual flagship event, Boca draws on FIA’s global reach to bring together some of the most diverse voices and leaders within the cleared derivatives industry. This year’s virtual programming centered around three key themes: markets, innovation, and sustainability. These themes dived into how the markets are evolving in the wake of the crisis, which innovations will drive market efficiency, and what measures will maintain financial stability while addressing climate change. The event provided a multitude of networking opportunities optimized for connecting while staying apart.
